Basically, performance fabrics are interior fabric that have value-added elements embedded to increase the selling power of furniture, such as being easily cleanable, having fire resistance and so on in anticipation of any hazards faced in daily use.

In addition to having this added power, performance fabrics must also have high fabric durability, as well as feature durability that does not expire in a short period.

Performance fabrics used to be synonymous for outdoor use exclusively, but are now increasingly varied hence they can be added to indoor interior fabrics as well.
