Progressive Designs Backed by 50 Years of Innovation

Five decades in the business means more than just the size of our factories. It means incorporating 50 years of ATEJA’s technical textile experience, expertise, and innovation into every fiber of our products—implementing new technologies, processes, and strategies to improve our efficiency, productivity, and sustainability of our manufacturing operations, including sustainable manufacturing practices that minimize our environmental footprint.

Solving Your Needs is How We Grow

At ATEJA, no requirements are too big, and no specification is too complex. Our designers and engineers relish to solve all your technical textile needs. For this is how we grow—by partnering with you, our customers, to realize a mutual goal and grow alongside you through each and every hard-fought challenge that we’ll prevail together.

50 Years of Innovation

From being the first fabric manufacturer in Indonesia to the largest technical textile powerhouse in Southeast Asia and Oceania, we didn’t grow into today from selling fabrics alone.

We upkeep our manufacturing facilities with the latest equipment and machinery. We support our designers and engineers with extensive research on the latest market needs and conditions. And everything is built on principles and expertise from over 50 years of technical textile experience and innovation.

Plus, our ongoing technical collaborations with industry leaders like Toyota and Aunde—that began more than 30 years ago—ensure our techniques and processes stay innovative, productive, and effective in today’s global standards.

Stringent Internal and External Quality Governance

While we are relatively generous with our resources to achieve the specifications you need, we are prudently stingy when it comes to product testing and quality control.

All product testing facilities at ATEJA are in accordance with international testing standards like ISO and JIS L. And we test everything in-house before sending them out for third-party tests and certifications to make sure we deliver exactly what you need to you on time.

We Took Our First Steps to Reduce Our Environmental Impacts More Than 30 Years Ago

When it comes to the environment, we’re aware that the textile industry is often careless and thoughtless. Carelessly, large amounts of water are used to wash and dye fabrics. And thoughtlessly, disposal and wastewater discharge become effluent that harms our environment.

Which is why more than 30 years ago, ATEJA took our first steps to reform our ways to mitigate our environmental impacts significantly. By today, we have planted 100,000 trees around our community, greatly reduced all dyebath processes to conserve water, installed natural gas boilers to reduce energy use, and became PROPER-BIRU-certified for proper management of wastewater, air pollution, and toxic/hazardous material.

Our ATEJA WaT3R program focuses on (WaT) Wastewater TREATMENT and to (3R) REDUCE, RECLAIM, and REUSE water in our factories and offices. This program has mitigated our environmental footprint significantly by reducing our sludge disposal by 70% and allowing us to reuse 60% of our water.

We are also focused on using more recycled raw materials in our products, with some using up to 40% recycled materials to produce. Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certified, deeming them safe for health and environment. And our Global Recycled Standard certification means we stringently track and verify recycled raw materials through our whole supply chain.

Anti Dustmite

Dust mites without us knowing it have been in our daily lives. microscopic creatures that from their size look harmless but when gathered in one place and inhaled by us, can cause various serious problems such as asthma or severe respiratory allergies.

With Anti Dust Mite treatment, EDHO can be protected from dust mites, preventing the growth of dust mites on curtains or window sheers which are a source of air circulation in the house.

Anti Microbial

Ateja fabrics are engineered to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi, and mold. Commonly used in various applications to provide additional protection against the proliferation of harmful microbes and where hygiene is crucial, such as hospitals and food processing facilities. The fabrics help controlling unpleasant odors caused by the growth of bacteria to make your day will be much fresher and more enthusiastic.

Unparalleled Antimicrobial Protection for Your Fabric

V-Shield utilizes a natural antimicrobial to actively, safely, and effectively inhibit numerous bacteria, fungi, and viruses from growing on the surface of your fabric.

Although microbes can be conventionally removed using detergents and disinfectants, frequent cleaning of your fabric may be impractical, or worse, accelerate its fade or discoloration.

V-Shield’s state-of-the-art silver ion technology provides an invisible, active protection against microbes while retaining the natural drape and handle of the fabric.

Innovation of Resolve

Ateja introduces RESOLVE, a new platform of products that are designed with enhanced biodegradability and have been tested according to ASTM D5511. They act just like biologically active landfills (when the necessary facilities are not available).

Ateja’s biodegradable fabric will not decompose under normal conditions, because the microbes that consumes the fabric are anaerobic bacteria which can only be found under anaerobic conditions (e.g: landfill). Therefore the service life of the product when it is not buried is still the same as the normal fabric’s life. Ateja’s biodegradable fabric can be recycled like ordinary fabrics.

RESOLVE fabrics require landfill as the biodegradability process begins as soon as the products are buried in comparison to the old method of Biodegradables which begins to degrade shortly after the product interacts with oxygen and are exposed to sunlight thus degrading into micro plastics.

Innovation of Ecosave

It is almost impossible for us to eliminate the use of plastics completely, but the most feasible solution is to reuse, reduce and recycle. Our focus is on recycling.

Ateja always supports the use of recycled plastic with the aim of cutting down on plastic waste. One of the methods is through utilising ECOSAVE, an innovation that we use in our products using recycled polyester as the raw material. ECOSAVE are recycled polyester fibers that are manufactured from used PET bottles. Through Environmentally-friendly recycle processes. ECOSAVE does not depend on petroleum and thus effectively conserves natural resources and reduces environmental burden without compromising on quality.

By using ECOSAVE fabric for all your fabric needs (such as mattress fabric, sofa fabric, curtains, etc.), we have indirectly supported the use and utilization of recycled plastic which of course has benefited the environment.

SAVE OUR PLANET, SAVE OUR FUTURE

Innovation of Stain Repellent

As one of the most comfortable places in the house, the bedroom plays a vital role to always pamper those who are in it. Through high activity in the bedroom, the equipment in it will also be susceptible to stains and dirt, one of which is the bed. Stain Repellent Mattress Tickings from ATEJA presents a breakthrough innovation that combines anti-stain and liquid features, so you don’t have to worry about stubborn stains remaining on the fabric of your bed’s surface.

This technology combines the best anti-stain agents  that offers excellent repellency against both water and oil-based spills, and ground-in stains that can be washed out easily during normal laundering.
